Upcoming Events - 2009/10

Throughout the year...

Regular Entrepreneurship Events - Start 22 October 2009

Ever wanted to meet a Dragon? Well now you can - thanks to Royal Holloway Entrepreneurs, with a mission to promote enterprising activity amongst students, staff and alumni. Whether you want to set up a company, social enterprise or charity, Royal Holloway Entrepreneurs provides inspiration, advice and opportunities to meet like-minded people. Led by Jack Lenox, creator of The Founder newspaper, and with Professor Alec Reed CBE as Founding Patron, the network promises to provide the excitement and energy needed to help students and alumni succeed in an uncertain and unpredictable world.

It is open to interested alumni, who will be able to attend the Start It! series of evening events held on campus. With the first event on October 22nd featuring successful entrepreneurs from the worlds of Pop, Rock and Classical music. The series is getting off to a highly tuneful start and will continue on fortnightly Thursdays. Future evenings will feature speakers from Dragon's Den, the popular BBC TV series, and you will have the opportunity to talk to the speakers and to meet other budding entrepreneurs after the events.

For further information and to book, please visit the entrepreneurs' website.

Places for the events are likely to fill up quickly, so book early!

When: First event 22 October and fortnightly on a Thursday thereafter

Time: 6pm-7pm presentations and questions, 7pm-8pm networking.
